NEEDLES:

For version worked in the round:

3.25mm, 40 cm circular needle

1 set of five 3.25mm double-pointed needles (or size to obtain gauge)

Alternatively the hat can be worked using the Magic Loop technique with an 80 cm circular needle throughout.

For version worked flat:

1 pair 3.25mm needles

TENSION/GAUGE:

30 sts and 34 rnds / rows to 10 cm measured over cable and rib patt using 3.25mm needles.

GARMENT MEASUREMENTS:

Circumference (when slightly stretched): 50 cm

Length (not including 4 cm turnback): 19 cm
